#148

broken down
by art
emotion
deconstructed
by fear
broken up
with rhythm
syncopation
music
the past
red wine
the past
girls and guys
birds
feathers flock
the revolution
will not be
today
much less
televised
the repeated
won’t happen
beaten down
by alcohol
cigarettes
sin
lust
painted sunflowers
bottled water
birds, elephants
turtles, doves
dogs, cats
wolves, people
beaten up
by TV
talk shows
the spectacular
circus
the wheel
smiles upon
the fortunate
occasionally you
find a million
dollars
occasionally you
lose your wallet
your parking spot
your nature
your
state of being
your openness
occasionally
gone
happening
waiting around
in traffic

forever?
